What good is your deck or patio if it is too hot to use.

Have a comfortable deck or patio with a frame patio canopy.

Protect yourself from the sun's harmful UV rays that can cause cancer.

Before

After

Frame canopies are practical for windy areas or when limited head room prevents the use of a Solair Retractable Awning.  And unlike a retractable awning you can use it even in the rain.

The canopy's frame is left up year-round while the fabric cover is removed for the winter months.  The frame is not designed to support a heavy snow load with the cover installed.  Removing the fabric cover for the winter months will also help to extend the life of the fabric.

The desired pitch of a frame canopy is 3" per foot or more.  However, as little as 1" per foot is possible.  Generally, the front of the canopy frame is around 7 feet high from the deck or patio floor.

We recommend that patio canopies use a Sunbrella or Dickson awning fabric cover.  These fabrics will fit properly year after year unlike cotton based fabrics which can shrink over time.

Frame patio canopies are attached to the house and are held up at the front by support posts.

This canopy is attached to the house below the gutter.
They can also be mounted to the wall.

The fabric cover is laced to the frame on three sides.

This is a typical pipe frame canopy design.
Support posts are spaced up to 10 feet apart.

The frames are made from SCH 40 galvanized pipe.

Welded frame canopies are also available at a higher cost.

All frame canopies are custom made for each job.
I am sorry but a frame canopy cannot be shipped for a customer to install.  If you do not live in the Rockford, Illinois area please check your Yellow Pages under
