Solair Comfort Retractable Awning Features:
- Manual hand winding brace operation.
- No support braces or posts to set up and walk into. The front of the awning is supported by spring loaded folding arms.
- All of the hardware is stainless steel.
- White aluminum frame with electrostatic powder coating to give the frame a corrosion-resistant, high-quality finish.
- Choose from three Sunbrella solid fabric colors and eleven stripe fabric colors.
- TÜV Certification. TÜV is an international product safety and quality assurance testing company.
Solair Comfort Retractable Awning Sizes:
Three stock sizes to choose from:
- 11 feet 11 inches Wide with 4 Mounting Brackets
- 15 feet 8 inches Wide with 4 Mounting Brackets
- 19 feet 5 inches Wide with 6 Mounting Brackets
All three have an arm projection of 9 feet 10 inches out from the wall.
Solair Comfort Retractable Awning Mounting Requirements:
A flat mounting area 7¼ inches high with no pipes, wires or other obstructions.
Mounting brackets must be firmly attached to the wall, ceiling or roof at the wall studs, ceiling beams or roof rafters.
Mounting to vinyl or aluminum siding is possible but may require the addition of a 2x8 or 2x10 wood header on top of the siding. Some soft wood siding may require the addition of a wood header also.
With a 7 feet front bar ground clearance the recommended wall mounting height is:
- Minimum Wall Mounting Height – 7 feet 10 inches.
- Ideal Wall Mounting Height – 9 feet 6 inches.
If insufficient wall height for a proper pitch is available, insufficient wall space for the mounting brackets, or you wish to use a canopy during windy days or when it is raining then a Frame Canopy may be the best solution to shade your deck or patio.
Solair Comfort Retractable Awning Includes:
- White Frame with right-hand manual operation and hand winding brace.
- Wall mount brackets.
- Your choice of over 14 Sunbrella awning fabric colors with an 8" valance.
- "Normal" installation in the Rockford, IL area. Motor freight shipping at a nominal charge should you live outside of the Rockford installation area.
Sunbrella awning fabric, manufactured by Glen Raven Mills, is a water and mildew resistant solution dyed woven acrylic fabric and it will hold their colors for many years.

- Ceiling/soffit mount brackets.
- Roof mount brackets. Roof mounting is strongly cautioned. Should the unit not be located close enough to the roof's edge, access to the gear operation hooks may be limited.

Solair Comfort Retractable Awning Warranty Information:
- The Tri Vantage, LLC Solair Comfort retractable awning limited warranty covers the awning framework to be free of defects in workmanship or materials for 3 years from the date of the original installation.
- The warranty does not cover damage due to faulty installation, acts of God like ice, snow, hail, high winds, vandalism, neglect, or improper use.
- Tri Vantage will not assume liability for any damage to the structure to which the awning is attached to or any damage to the property located underneath or near the awning.
Solair Retractable Awning Recommended Usage Tips:
ALWAYS leave your Solair retractable awning in the stored position when you are not home.
NEVER leave your Solair retractable awning out during high winds or storms.
Solair retraceable awnings are designed for sun protection. They are not designed to withstand high winds or heavy rain.
With an ideal pitch the awning may be used in a light rain but only if it is monitored at all times!
It is recommended that you do not use your Solair retractable awning in winds greater than 20 to 25 MPH. Generally speaking, if it is too windy to read a newspaper comfortable outside then it is probably too winding to use your Solair retractable awning.
